Bruce Robinson obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1973. He articled under the auspices of Mr. C.F. MacMillan, Q.C. of MacMillan, Rooke, Avery and Forbes and became a partner in the firm MacMillan, Rooke, Avery, Boeckle and Robinson.

In 1989, the Law Society of Upper Canada certified Bruce as a Specialist in Civil Litigation.

From 1992 through 1995, Mr. Robinson was associated with the firm of Iacono, Brown, when he was then appointed to the Ontario Insurance Commission as an Arbitrator.

In January 1996, Bruce returned to the private sector, bringing his experience and expertise as a mediator, arbitrator and litigation specialist to DRS Dispute Resolution Services Inc.

Bruce specializes in the area of civil litigation, and in particular, the areas of Statutory Accident Benefits (under Ontario Insurance Acts; Bills 68, 164 and 59), tort law and other personal injury matters. His cases have involved such areas as: occupier's liability, product liability, aviation and marine law.

Bruce continues to teach in the Bar Admission Course and lectures to the private and public sectors.

Mr. Robinson is a member of the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS).
