Louie Reznick is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the bar in 1980. He practiced law in the area of civil litigation (personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, occupier’s liability, employment law, breaches of contract, etc.). He is also counsel to the law firm of Reznick, Parsons, Meisels. He has been appointed Deputy Small Claims Court Judge. He has been Certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. He holds a Certificate in Mediation from Osgoode Hall Law School.

He had received an appointment by the Commissioner of Insurance to the Roster of Pre-Hearing Arbitrators at the Ontario Insurance Commission (now known as the Financial Services Commission of Ontario). He had been appointed to the Roster of Mediators for Mandatory Mediations in Toronto. He has sat as a member of the Insurance Committee of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. He has sat on panels interviewing applicants for Specialist Designations in Civil Litigation. He has been a speaker at Canadian Bar Association (Ontario) seminars and a speaker and instructor for the Professional Development Program of Osgoode Hall Law School’s Continuing Legal Education Workshops. He has been an instructor at Bar Admission Course in civil litigation and an instructor at Osgoode Hall Law School’s course of Theory and Practice of Mediation. He is a member of various organizations including the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Medical Legal Society, Toronto Lawyers Association, The Lawyers Club, etc.
