Clifford M. Hendler, President DRS Dispute Resolution Services LP
Cliff Hendler is president of DRS Dispute Resolution Services LP, one of Canada's largest and oldest providers of dispute resolution services. Mr. Hendler is a Founder and Past President of the International Academy of Mediators and Co-Chair of the American Bar Association's National Institute on Advanced Mediation and Advocacy Skills Training. Cliff is one of Canada's most experienced commercial mediators, having been retained on more than 2,500 cases since 1989.

During the past eighteen years, Mr. Hendler has become known as one of North America's foremost mediators in insurance litigation, legal and medical malpractice, defamation, sexual assault/abuse and workplace and community based conflicts.
Cliff's reputation is that of a "true mediator" who is able to facilitate and assist in the settlement of the most difficult and hotly debated cases. His cases have included very high profile and delicate litigation matters which have been successfully resolved away from the public eye.
Mr. Hendler has substantial experience in mediation and mediation advocacy training, and has been a guest lecturer/speaker at many universities, organizations and public forums. Cliff co-managed the development of a mediation advocacy program for the ABA National Institute which has since been taught to more than 600 lawyers and mediators throughout North America. He has been involved in dispute system design and class action/mass tort alternative dispute resolution process development. Cliff has also been appointed as judge both through the International Chamber of Commerce and the American Bar Association for national and international law school mediation competitions.
